DARWIN WAVE POOL

This is a 1.5m maximum wave height Boogie Board Wave Pool built within the Darwin Waterfront Project for the N.T. Government.  This will be the largest wave pool in Australia approximately 4500 sq m varying  in width from 25m to 80m and 100m long with the highest waves and is one of only 6 boogie board wave pools in the world at the time of design. The pool also includes a toddlers pool of 2500 sq m with water features and beach area of 1500 sqm . All plantrooms are subterranean 6m below ground level and the water table. The structure is fully piled to rock, and GNFP were responsible for the structure, wave plant, pool filtration , mechanical and hydraulic services.
